Be a mysterious vet of the East with these acupuncture animals
These four beautiful pieces are part sculpture, part Mysterious Orient medical teaching tool. Each animal — a pig, a dog, a cow, and a cat — are cast in shiny white plastic for that classy look that screams Crate & Barrel. On one side, they’re marked up with all sorts of neat pressure points, so you can learn how to cure cattle headaches and dog back spasms without paying a fortune on animal acupuncture school. Then when you’re ready to party, just flip the models around to reveal the “skinned” side. You can point at exposed organs and go “ew!” or use them to brainstorm your next meal!
We make a lot of jokes on Monkeskull about the things we find being suitable for “year round” display, but these really are. They sit in that gray area between kitsch and decor, with just a touch of morbid weirdness about them, and would look great on a bookshelf.
