Mummified mother found in North Hollywood home


A man in North Hollywood contacted a realtor about refinancing his home, but when she came to inspect the house, he wouldn’t let her take photos of the interior.

“He allowed me to take pictures of the outside of his house. He asked me if he could borrow my camera and he would take the pictures for me, so he did. He took pictures of the inside except for one bedroom,” said Andrade.

It turns out Hunt had good reason not to take pictures of that one bedroom. It is where he was keeping his dead mother, something to which he eventually confessed.

“That’s when he told me he needed to be up front with me, and let me know that he was probably not going to be able to obtain the death certificate; that nobody knew, but the mom was still in the house, deceased,” said Andrade
